Transformers: Age of Extinction Toy Reviews!
As I write this it is just over eleven hours until my nearest TRU opens tomorrow. That is the first of a dozen or so stores I’m raiding for new Transformers: Age of Extinction toys tomorrow. I hope to start getting some reviews up Monday or Tuesday. Below is a list of all the toys that are currently announced (with probably a few mistakes, Hasbro doesn’t make it easy to put together a list). They won’t all be out tomorrow, obviously, but check back to this page for links as I put up the blogs.
I will also add a miscellaneous merchandise list as I find stuff.
Happy toy hunting.
Update 5/17/14: Well, in the words of the Dark Lord, “I profess myself…disappointed.” That would be the Dark Lord Voldemort, not Brian Savage, but I can understand your confusion. With just a couple of exceptions, I found pretty much exactly what I expected, Wave 1 of Dino Sparkers, Flip & Change/Smash & Change, Generations Deluxe, Generations Leader, Generations Voyager, One Step Changers, Power Battlers, Titan Heroes, Titan Guardians, Constructbots Dinobot Warriors, Constructbots Dinobots, and Constructbots Dinobot Riders. The only thing from Wave was the 2 Constructbots Dinobot Riders. That was a bit disappointing. I am afraid we will never see another day like when Revenge of the Fallen went on sale. I filled TWO shopping baskets to overflowing at TRU that day. Only one for each Dark of the Moon and Age of Extinction. Oh well.
More disappointing was the lack of Kre-O product. I found only two building sets and the Micro-Change Combiners. I really thought there would be more.
Even more disappointing was Target. Of four Targets I went to, only one had put out their AOE product. Two of the others have one AOE item out, the other had none. When I asked people, the best that they could tell me was that they assumed they were waiting for more of the clearance to sell. WTF!!!!! I’ve always thought the street dating was stupid, but if you’re going to do it, then retailer at least have to respect that this was an announced national release day. Would they hold a new movie release from the first day because they had too much older movie stock? Of course not. The Walmarts I went to all had stuff out, except for one, but they didn’t have very much. While one employee at Target was fumbling for an answer for me, I flat out told him, “Don’t worry about it, I’ll go to Toys R Us.” To say I was miffed was an understatement.
And we get to the most disappointing thing of all, Hasbro. Not including Kre-O sets, I bought 37 toys. Counting the Dino Riders as 1/2, That makes 22.5 Autobots, 12.5 Dinobots, and 2 Decepticons. Yes, that’s right, 2 Decepticons. What is this? Early 90’s Japan? And both of those Decepticons were Constructbots Lockdown in two different price points, Dinobot Warriors, and Dinobot Riders. I understand that they wanted to try to keep Galvatron secret as long as possible, but this is ridiculous. Even worse, there were 8.5 Optimus Primes 6.5 Grimlocks, and 4.5 Bumblebees. That’s over half the toys available. They could have held Voyager Grimlock to wave two and given us Hound instead. Just something, anything for some variety. Very disappointing.
When I got home I hit the internet and ordered Voyagers Galvatron and Hound, Constructbots Scorn, and One Step Changer Lockdown.
I did find some ancillary merchandise I will list that with links to pictures down below the toy list.
It’s going to take me a few days, maybe this week to start getting reviews up.
Update 5/18/14: So, I’m getting read for a nice leisurely day of cataloging, photographing, and opening toys, when Twitter gives me the most unwelcome news that there is a variation on Leader Class Optimus Prime. One with lighter red paint was found at Target. So, I headed out to my nearest Target. They had finally put stuff out, but sold out on LC Prime. I went to my next closest Target, who had put stuff out, and they too were sold out. By dumb luck the third Target hadn’t put anything out yet. So after convincing a Target employee that when the web site said it was not sold in stores that it was wrong, he found me one out back and it was the variant. Found a few more merchandise items, but nothing significant.
Update 5/20/14: There was one thing I forgot in my post release day thoughts above. That would be on packaging. Age of Extinction has some of the best packaging in years, which is also some of the worst packaging in years. How did Hasbro manage that? I love the look of the boxes, white with larger red block lettering. They look really sharp. The carded toys look nice, but lack the white stripe in favor Transformers on the clear bubble with a white stripe on the card behind. They look nice, but I would have liked the white stripe in the bubble so they looked more like the boxed toys. That is where the good ends.
The bad falls into two separate categories.
First, Tech Specs. They don’t have any on most toys. The Deluxe, Voyager, and Leader toys, which are meant as part of the Generations line, have a few sentence blurb about each character, which is completely inadequate. No quote. Not power ratings. Hasbro said they had separated the line into a more kid friendly and more collector friendly line. I don’t mind no tech specs on the kid friendly line, but Hasbro should have learned a long time ago that collector’s like tech specs. There is a reason they brought them back after getting rid of them for Armada. This is just idiotic.
Second, most of these toys don’t even say what series they are in! The Voyager, Deluxe, and Leader toys have that on the side of the package packaging. Of all other non building set lines, only Dino Sparkers actually say “Dino Sparkers” on the boxes as if it’s the series name. Smash & Change and Flip & Change are written on the package with an exclamation point making them look more like descriptions than the name of the series. One Step Changers only say “1 Step!”, I’d never think that was the series name if I didn’t know it. The words “Titan Heroes” and “Titan Guardians” do not appear anywhere on those toys’ boxes. As bad as all that is, the worst to me is Power Battlers (if that is indeed what they are called). Not only does that name appear nowhere on the package, but I’ve seen them called Power Attackers online also, so I’m not even sure what the right name is. Their packaging is very close to deluxe toys. I can’t even imagine how confusing this will be for parents to find the right toys with the series names not on the boxes. If they don’t want to feature it in an obvious place on the box, then put it on a side panel like Deluxe, Voyager, and Leader, but put it on somewhere.
Update 5/21/14: Added Reviews for Wave 1 Deluxe, Leader, and Voyagers. Also got a few new toys in today, One Step Changer Lockdown, Voyager Galvatron, Constructbots Dinobot Scorn. More reviews in a couple of days.
Update 5/22/14: Added reviews for Wave 1 Dino Sparkers, Titan Guardians, and Titan Heroes.
Update 5/23/14: I have addede reviews for Wave 1 One Step Changers, Wave 1 Flp & Change / Smash & Change, Wave 1 Power Battlers, and Voyager Galvatron. Picked up some more merchandise too, links to pics below. The lack of Kre-O product that was so disappointing last weekend has turned around fast. I picked up Galvatron Factory Battle and Cell Block Breakout, Series 1 Customizable Kreons, and Series 1 Mciro-Changers (more on that later). Dinobot Charge and Scorn Street Chase are in the hands of the Post Office and should be in next week. That leaves just Optimus Prime Dino Hauler, Dinobot Ride, and Series 2 Customizable Kreons and Micro-Changers, at least until they announce more stuff. I kind of lucked out on the Micro-Changers. I have, until today, never found a case that contained two complete sets. When I found a half full box, I figured I was only going to come up with a partial set. There were eleven, all different, in the box. I asked at the desk and they said they had 12 in stock. So, somewhere in the store was, hopefully, the twelfth I needed. I went back to the Kreon isle and started by looking in the plastic display for the blind buys, and there it was, the one I needed. What are the odds? I usually don’t have that kind of luck. i will try to get Constructbots reviews up early next week, and then I will start on the Kreo reviews. That’s going to take a while.
Update 5/25/14: I swung by Toys R Us this morning after seeing on Twitter that the Evolutions Strafe Exclusive had been seen in stores. Didn’t find that, but I did find the entire series of Transformers Hexbugs, all Six Warriors, all Six Nano, The Battle Stadium, and the Battle Arena. I also found the 30th Anniversary Mini Figures, nine of the first fifteen single packs and the three Series 1 five packs. Five packs were $16.99, so that wasn’t bad, but the singles were $5.99 each. That is ridiculous. Anyway, I get to the register, and everything rings up fine accept the Hexbugs Battle Arena that comes up with a release date of June 15th. Needless to say I was pissed. There is no logical reason for one single Hexbugs item to be street dated while none of the other are. Someone must have screwed up. On the other side, it could be that all the Hexbugs were supposed to be street dated for June 15th, in which case I made out pretty good. I will be curious to see if anyone else finds any of these in stores. Pictures of the Hexbugs are linked in the Merchandise section below. I will put up a blog this week with the Mini Figures.
Update 5/26/14: Added reviews for Constructbots Dinobots Wave 1, Constructbots Dinobot Warriors Wav2 1, and Constructbots Dinobot Riders Wave 1 & Wave 2. I’ve got a few non Age of Extinction blogs to work on this week, and hopefully I’ll get to the Kre-O reviews next weekend.
Update 5/29/14: No new reviews, but I found some new miscellaneous merchandise and found a few more Mini Figures (all now linked below). I found five of the six Blind Buy Mashems. I still need a Grimlock. Also found the last Hexbugs item, the Battle Arena, and Battle Brigade Grimlock. I also picked up some Transformers pajamas, which I thought were Prime, but are actually Age of Extinction. One shows Stinger. I don’t have a great picture of it, but we haven’t seen much about Stinger yet. All of these are linked below.
Update 5/30/14: No new reviews, probably not until middle of this coming week, but the stores were good to me today. I picked up the last two Single Pack Mini-Figures I needed and a few more merchandise times. I found Toys R Us Exclusive Evolutions Strafe and the Target Exclusives Titan Heroes Silverknight Optimus Prime and Smash & Change Silverknight Optimus Prime. I was surprised to find that Smash & Change Silverknight Optimus Prime is #28 from the Thrilling Thirty. I have quite a bit to say on that subject, starting with WTF, but I’ll save it for the blog. I also snagged a Masterpiece Grimlock. He has a number of differences from the previous Toys R Us version.
Update: 6/1/14: Made an unplanned stop at Toys R Us and found a couple of surprises. They had Evolution Grimlock, but still no Slug. They also had the Kre-O Grimlock Unleashed set which I don’t think anyone had even heard about until a week or so ago. I should have a whole bunch of reviews posted today or tomorrow.
Update: 6/2/14: Lots of new reviews up today. Pretty much everything I have have been reviewed accept for what I picked up yesterday. Not sure when I’ll get to those, but reviews are now up for All Kre-O that are out (accept Optimus Prime Dino Hauler and Dinobot Ride, which might not even be out), Evolution Strafe, Target Exclusive Silverknight Optimus Prime Titan Hero and Smash & Change, and Masterpiece Grimlock. I’m expecting my Voyager H9ound in the next couple of days and ordered the Target Exclusive Grimlock/Optimus Prime 2-Pack.
Update: 6/4/2014: Added reviews for Voyager Hound, Evolutions Grimlock 2-Pack, and Kre-O Grimlock Unleashed. Also added a couple of Merchandise items. My local TRU had the feature Age of Extinction display half put up today. It’s only about a quarter filled with toys. Seems idiotic that they have this massive display area that isn’t even full. There is a cool arch you walk through that roars when you walk through it. That is pretty awesome. Wave 2 toys are starting to hit, so hopefully more reviews coming soon.
Update 6/6/2014: Stores haven’t had much for new toys the last few days, but the online shopping has been great! I’ve got the following coming in next week from HasbroToyShop.com: One Step Changers Hound, Slash, Bumblebee, and Crosshairs, Power Battlers Drift and Scorn, Flip & Change Bumblebee, Drift, and Lockdown, Constructbots Slash, and Mr. Potato head Optimus Prime/Grimlock. From Target.com I have exclusives Constructbots Dinobot Grimlock with Dinobot Riders Silverkinght Optimus Prime and Voyager Generations Grimlock vs. DotM Deluxe Silverknight Optimus Prime. I’ve got a lot going on this week, but hope to get reviews of some of that up next weekend.
Update 6/12/2104: No major update today, just a coupel of items. I expect to have a bunch of reviews down this weekend as I have a pile of toys waiting to be opened. I have added below a section for Transformers Hero Mashers. Strictly speaking these are not Age of Extinction toys, but the series does include move Drift, so I am going to list them. Reviews of the first wave of basics and deluxes should be coming this weekend. I have also added a section below for non-AOE merchandise. Hasbro has been releasing some merchandise using the AOE packaging (white stripe with Transformers in red) without the AOE logo and using Prime character art. Presumably this is intended to bridge the gap for non movie merchandise until the new cartoon starts next year. I thought I should include it.
Update 6/13/14: I picked up the elusive Kre-O Optimus Prime Dino Hauler today. Lots of new toy reviews including, Hero Mashers Wave 1 Basic and Deluxe, Target Silverknight Optimus Prime & Grimlock 2-Pack, Target Constructbots Silverknight Optimus Prime & Grimlock 2-Pack, Power Attackers Wave 2, One Step Changers Wave 1.5 and Wave 2, Flip & Change Wave 2 and Wave 3, Deluxe Strafe, Evolution Slug, Construtbots Dinobots Wave 2, and the previously mentioned Kre-O Optimus Prime Dino Hauler.
Update 6/22/14: Added reviews for Deluxe Drift and Slash and photos of a Silver Knight Optimus Prime T-Shirt and a Gift Bag. While I did not go to Botcon, sometime this week I will be doing a blog summarizing all the new info and update the toy list below with all the new announcements.
Update 6/29/14: THE MOVIE IS AWESOME! I’ve seen it three times already. Will need to see it once more before I review it, but it is incredible. Michale Bay is a genius. Go see it. I’ve got no new reviews, but will have a couple later this week including Hero mashers Electronic Optimus Prime & Grimlock, and Constructbots Dinobot Warriors Bumblebee & Hound. I’ve added pics of a few more merchandise items, Barnes & Noble Funko Pop Optimus Prime, Mini Figures 3-Packs, some lunch boxes and backpacks, and 3D Glasses.
Update 7/2/14: I’ve got a few more reviews up, Constructbot Dinobot Warriors Hound & Bumblebee, Kre-O Dinobot Ride, and Hero Mashers Electronic Optimus Prime & Grimlock. I ordered a couple of new toys, Constructbots Dinofire Grimlock and Chomp and Stomp Grimlock. The latter carries a hefty $80 price tag, so I really hope it’s worth it. I’m not going to hold my breath. They won’t ship until after the holiday weekend at the soonest, so hopefully next weekend I’ll have them to review. I’ve also put up a post with all the toy news out of Botcon. You can read that here. Lots of AOE news. There was very little Kre-O and no Constructbots news. I guess we’ll have to see what happens at SDCC.
Update 7/6/14: Lots and lots of new merchandise pics today, Silver Knight themed bedding from Target, a large plush Optimus Prime, backpacks, lunch boxes, Funtainers, Movie Theater popcorn buckets and cups with toppers, Tokens, and some other miscellaneous items.
Update 7/13/14: Had a great weekend hunting down merchandise. Found three pajama sets, 3 t-shirts, a baseball hat, sun glasses, 3 watches, a wallet, tattoos, puzzles, a Big Red Soda bottle, 4 cups, a couple of posters, and stickers. Photos below. A few new toy reviews will go up this week.
Update: 7/18/14: A few new reviews today, One Step Stomp & Chomp Grimlock, Constructbots Dinofire Grimlock, and Hero Mashers Team Pack (Bumblebee & Strafe). Lots of new merchandise too, tote bags, notebooks, socks, a wallet, a water bottle, 2 backback dangles, a lanyard, a light stick, a sketchbook set, a couple more t-shirts, and a belt.
Update: 7/19/14: At last, I finally received my Transformers: Movie Advanced Dino, Dispensor and Jolt! Reviews are linked below. These are the only three deluxe toys with mold changes from the USA versions (as far as I know) in the Movie Advanced line in Japan.
These toys illustrate quite effectively why Hasbro has made an effort to simplify toys. Dispensor has an instruction sheet approximately (I didn’t measure it) the size of a standard sheet of 8.5 x 11 inch paper. Jolt’s instruction sheet is more than TWICE the size. I think Hasbro really has the right idea about simplification. While they took it to the extreme releasing way too many One Step Changers, Flip & Change, and Fast Action Battlers, the Generations movie toys are simplified while still highly detailed and complex enough, a lot more like the 2007 Movie toys. So, Hasbro was definitely not wrong to back off from making puzzle formers, they just went way too much to the extreme, and I think it’s one of the major reasons that the line is underselling so badly. They didn’t help themselves when they announced they would simplify toys and the only ones they showed at the time were the Beast Hunters upsized Legion to Deluxe and Commander to Voyager toys. The movie Generations are not like that at all, and I really believe that some people are staying away because of the perception of what simplifying the toys would entail. Hasbro’s marketing has been a complete joke since right after Revenge of the Fallen.
At this time the only other Japanese movie toy I have ordered and expect to get is the Transformers: Lost Age Battle Command Optimus Prime, which is a large Optimus Prime toy meant to be used with One Step Changers and Power Battlers, and is not scheduled for a USA release. (Though I’m still on the fence about the rusted version of Evasion Mode Optimus Prime from Japan, it looks a lot better than the USA version.)
Update: 7/23/14: Just one new review, Mega One Step Changer Bumblebee. Also added a pic of the AMC Theaters IMAX Poster.
Update: 8/9/14: Been a while since I’ve updated. I’ve picked up a ton of new merch including TF 2014 party items and AOE school supplies, backpacks, lunchboxes, t-shirts, watches, bedding, sneakers, and radio control cars. I picked up Deluxe Lockdown, and will hopefully be reviewing him tomorrow. I will also review the RC cars, which are very cool. I’ve got an SDCC Dinobots set on the way. It’ sort of an AOE toy, so I will include there here. I’ve got other non AOE reviews going up soon as well including Masterpiece Sunstorm and The Rescue Bots Epic Figures.
Update 8/10/14: I’ve got reviews up for Evolutions Bumblebee and Deluxe Lockdown. Just not a lot of new toys out right now. I’m still looking for the Kmart and Walmart exclusives and the last wave of deluxes. I’ve also added reviews of the Nikko RC cars.
Update 8/18/14: I added a bunch more merchandise today including more folders and notebooks a few more party items, and curtains. I also added reviews of Wave 2 Customizable Kreons and the Japanese Transformers: Lost Age Battle Command Optimus Prime.
Update 8/23/14: I’ve got a bunch of new reviews up including the SDCC Dinobots set, Lost Age Wheeljack and Rusty Version Optimus Prime, and the Kmart exclusive Titan Heroes Optimus Prime and Grimlock with sounds and weapons and Platinum Edition Voyager Optimus Prime and Grimlock.
Update 8/31/14: Well, I had a great day of hunting yesterday. After weeks of futility, I found the Walmart Exclusive Legends (4), 2-Packs (3), and 3-Pack. I also found Age of Extinction Fishing Poles. They keep leasing these for every series with new package art and stickers. I wish they would just do a new fishing pole just for some variety. I also was able to get my hands on another set of the new Walmart bakery cake toppers (I had one sealed, but wanted one to open). I’m hoping to get reviews of the Walmart exclusives up late tonight.
Update 9/1/14: Reviews are now up for the Walmart exclusive Legends, 2-Packs, and 3-Pack.
Update 9/6/14: I added a bunch of merchandise pics including some foreign items including a German World Cup Planner, Japanese Skal drink bottle, Korean Bumblebee vs. Stinger Headphones, and UK Plush Optimus Prime and Bumblebee (2014, not AOE) as well as a few other miscellaneous items.
Update 9/21/14: Lots of new toy reviews including Hero mashers Soundwave, Slug, Rodimus, Heatwave, and Jetfire, Voyager Slog and Drift, Titan Heroes Lockdown, Target Exclusive One Step Changer 6-Pack and Platinum Edition Silver Knight Optimus Prime, and the Toys R Us exclusive Evolutions Optimus Prime set. I’ve also added pics of a bunch of new merchandise.
Update 9/28/14: Added a few new merchandise items, Transformers Connect 4 the only notable one. Also added a review for the last two Transformers Battle Masters. We can only hope they are the last Battle Masters we’ll ever see.
Update 10/5/14: Added some new merchandise including seven different versions of the DVD, a number of German magazines, some specially packed breakfast cereal and a few other odds and ends. I’ve also added reviews of One Step Changer Stinger and Leader Bumblebee.
Update 10/16/14: I’ve added even more merchandise items including the TF 2014 Kinder Surprise toys. I have a bunch of reviews coming up probably this weekend.
Update: 10/31/14: Happy Halloween! I’ve added a bunch of new reviews including the 3rd waves of both Power Battlers (Attackers) and One Step Changers, Platinum Edition Leader Optimus Prime & Grimlock, Kre-O Decepticon Replicator and Silver Knight Autobot 5-Pack. We’re really starting to get down to the end of the Age of Extinction line. There are a few notable Constructbots items that have not yet materialized including the Walmart Exclusive Strafe with Bumblebee & Stinger set, and Dinobot Riders Galvatron & Starscream. Wave 3 Deluxe Toys have just started showing up at Retail. Wave 4 Power Battlers and One Step Changers are still to come. There are a number of Platinum sets upcoming. That’s really it. I’m probably forgetting a couple of odds and ends. Once everything is out, I will post a review of the line as a whole. I’m looking forward to writing that.
Update 11/10/14: I added a bunch of photos of merchandise including a mess of TF 2014 party items from Party City and Mashems along with a few miscellaneous items. Added a few AOE items as well, most notably the Amazon.com exclusive Blu-Ray with statue.
Update 11/11/14: Picked up AOE Deluxe Hot Shot and Snarl today. These are the first new AOE toys I’ve found in store in quite a while. Most of the new stuff I’ve got in the last one to two months has been online. Hopefully this means stuff will start to slowly hit stores again.
Update 11/15/14: Added a bunch of new merchandise pics including the Carrera Electric Racing Sets and accessories.
Update 11/16/14: I found Deluxe Bumblebee today. That’s the last Generations AOE toy accept for the Platinum repaints and Amazon.com G1 Slog, also a repaint. There was, I thought, a mention of a Deluxe Stinger from Botcon in a two pack with Bumblebee, but I might have imagined that. This just leaves a few Construct Bots, one wave each of One Step Changers and Power Battlers, another wave of Kre-O Micro-Changers that still hasn’t shown up, another wave of Custom Kreons, possibly two more transforming Remote Control vehicles, and the above mentioned G1 Slog and Platinum toys . That is it. Kind of depressing.
Update 11/30/14: Happy Thanksgiving! I added reviews for Platinum Edition Optimus Prime with Trailer & Sideswipe, Japanese Movie Advanced AD-31 Armor Knight Optimus Prime, Wave 4 One Step Changers, and Walmart Exclusive Construct Bots Strafe with Bumblebee & Stinger. Also added a few merchandise items.
Update 12/13/14: Finally I’ve managed to get a couple more of the Platinum Edition sets. I now have reviews of the Autobots United 5-Pack and The Breakout Battle “Farmageddon” 3-Pack. Also added a bunch more merchandise items.
Update 12/21/14: Added a review of the Age of Extinction Platinum Series Dinobots Unleashed set and a bunch more merchandise items. The AOE line is really coming towards a close. We have 3 Power Attackers, 2 Constructbot Dinobot Riders, 4 Kre-O Custom Kreons, one wave of 12 Kre-O Micro-Changers, and the Amazon.com Voyager G1 Slog left. I don’t think I will bother wait for them, sometime in the next week or so I will write up my thoughts on the AOE line as a whole.
Update 12/23/14: I added reviews of Japanese Movie Advanced Ratchet and Starscream, as well as reviews for the Japanese EZ Collection Clear Optimus Prime and Mini Optimus Prime Statues.
Update 1/1/15: Happy new year. I’ve added a review of the Amazon.com G1 Slog that was not included in the 2014 SDCC Dinobots Set. I also added a few more merchandise items.
Update 2/6/15: I’m still waiting on the last three Power Battler toys, but I did pick up the Movie Advanced Stinger, a link to the review is below. Kind of pathetic that they didn’t even give him a new head. I also found out, rather accidentally, that Target (I assume it was Target, they don’t say Target Exclusive on the package) had two exclusive Hexbugs, a repaint of Nano Optimus Prime called Silver Knight (not Silver Knight Optimus Prime, just Silver Knight). There was also a second version of the Battle Stadium with Silver Knight instead of Optimus Prime. Pics of both are linked below. I am going to try to right my final review of the entire Age of Extinction line in the next week or so.
Update 3/14/15: Well, at long last I have secured (99% sure) the last 3 AOE toys, Power Battlers Junkheap, High Octane Bumblebee, and Vehicon. This assumes that a few toys that seem to be canceled, actually are. Those would be the Construct Bots Dino Riders Galvatron and Starscream and Kre-O Custom Kreons Wave 3 (Dinobots). My guess is we will see them show over seas at some point, but certainly not any time soon. Once I get my Power battlers and review them, I will do a final review of the AOE line. I did add a couple of pieces of merchandise. If I get more AOE or 2014 merchandise, I will continue to add it to this page, but my guess is that it will be only a very small number of items.
Update 3/30/15: I’ve added reviews of the third and final wave of AOE Kre-O Custom Kreons. Also added reviews for the last three Power Battlers, High Octane Bumblebee, Junkheap, and Vehicon. That leaves the Construct Bots Dino Riders Galvatron and Starscream as the last two toys in the AOE line. At this point, give how long it has been since pics of them showed up, I am assuming they are canceled. I will be writing a post this week about the AOE toy line and that will be my last new update on this blog. If the Mini Figures wave two Singles, Three Packs and Five Packs ever come out, I will ad picks of them as well.
Update 4/11/15: Well, here it is, the last update of this page. I have posted a review of the Age of Extinction line, which you can read here. I guess it’s on to Transformers 5. God help us all.
