Transformers: Age of Extinction Power Attackers Wave 2 (Drift, Scorn)

I had these down as being wave 3, but I must have screwed my list up at some point, as the ones I had as wave 2 have not shown up at all.

Power Battler Drift

Drift has a neat action feature.  You turn his upper body and his sword blades flip out.  Unfortunately, this means that his arms cannot move in any other way.  I really like his car mode.

I love Scorn’s dinosaur head sculpt.  It looks really great.  Unfortunately, his spines are made of soft plastic.  Not only do they not stay in line, but the two pieces they are attached to, also soft plastic, don’t even stay in place.  His tail is also hopelessly bent soft plastic.  I like his robot mode, but his tale whip action feature is kind of lame.

Overall: Not bad, but not the greatest either.

Thanks for reading!

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
