Transformers: Age of Extinction Walmart Exclusive 3-Pack Legends Bumblebee & Stinger and Deluxe Strafe

It seems to have taken forever, but AOE Walmart exclusives have actually shown up in stores.  There are three different Bumblebee and Stinger Legends (1-Pack, 2-Pack, and 3-Pack) and two Optimus Primes (1-Pack and 2-Pack).  These are labeled in the toy comparison photos below.

Bumblebee

Unlike the 1-Pack and 2-Pack Bumblebees, this one is the Dark of the Moon Legion Bumblebee mold.  It would be great looking if they had painted his back window  It’s nice otherwise.  It was nice that they included weapons with this set, but Bumblebee does not have a roof port for it.

Stinger

Transformers: Prime Legion Knock Out’s mold was used for this Stinger.  This is the same mold used for the 1-Pack.  I think this is the better painting of the two, though neither are perfect.  The 1-Pack has a better paint job on the hood and feet, but this one is best for the rest.  (Yes, you could take them apart and make one really good one out of the two.)

Strafe

Unfortunately, Strafe is the same as the regular release version.  It would have been nice if they just made a couple of paint changes.  You can read my review of this toy here.

Overall: Price wise, this one isn’t bad at $25 if you need Strafe.  If you already have it then it’s a little pricey.

Thanks for reading!

I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
