Transformers: Age of Extinction Mega One Step Changer Bumblebee

Much like Stomp & Chomp One Step Changer Grimlock, this Bumblebee is not meant for collectors.  It’s meant for kids, and if you look at it in that way, it’s a pretty great toy.  He’s big, looks cool, and transforms without any swearing (unlike so many others).  He has a disk launcher under his right hand.  His design is essentially the same as One Step Changer Drift, and has the same design flaw.  His chest does not sit all the way down and instead sticks out slightly.  It’s not as bad as with One Step Changer Drift, as Bumblebee is larger and his chest does not obscure his face.  This problem could have easily been fixed with a magnet.

Overall: Collector’s can skip this, but I think kids are going to love it.

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
