Botcon 2016 Club Subscription Service 4.0 Deluxe Spinister with Singe & Shrute

Spinister is a repaint of Transformers Generations Deluxe Vortex.  Singe and Shrute are repaints of Caliburst and Holepunch.

Shrute?  Really?  Decepticon Hairsplitter wasn’t available?  Or what about Splitter?  That would have worked, and I am fairly certain that wouldn’t be trademarked.  This is the second toy with two Targetmasters in a row that they renamed one of them to something really stupid.

They did a nice job of painting Spinister, but I’m not sure why we needed another Spinister just a few years after getting one at Botcon.  Add to that, the mold does not really incorporate the Targetmasters very well.  It’s hard to position them so they aren’t in the way of the rotor.  Plus these Targetmasters are so poorly designed that when you try to peg them on the piece with the peg pops out from between their ankles.  This seems to get worse with each use of the mold.  It’s a decent toy, but unnecessary and flawed.
