Transformers: Generations: Combiner Wars Deluxe Autobot Smokescreen

Smokescreen is repainted from Autobot Prowl who was previously remolded from Protectobot Streetwise and Stunticon Dead End.  You can read my Dead End review here, my Streetwise review here, and my Prowl review here.

They did an amazing job painting him as G1 Smokescreen.  Unfortunately, they did not remove Prowl’s light bar from the roof, and just painted it all red to try to hide it.  This really sucks.  I don’t mind all the repainting in the Combiner Wars line, but it really pisses me off when they don’t do the minor remolding necessary to make a toy right.  If they really didn’t want to remold, then they should have used the Dead End mold with Prowl’s head.  It’s so typical Hasbro to miss the small details and ruin a good toy.
