I’ve put up reviews of all three new Micro-Change Combiners, Abominus, Defensor, and Piranacon. There are links to those and all my other Kre-O blogs at the end of the review.
Transformers Kre-O Micro-Changers Combiner Abominus (Hun-Gurrr, Rippersnapper , Sinnertwin, Windrazor)
Hun-Gurrr
Hun-Gurrr pulls off the two headed monster thing pretty well, better than I would have thought. I really like his robot mode too.
Rippersnapper
Rippersnapper is pretty awesome. I think he’s actually better than the Transformers Prime Cyberverse Legion Rippersnapper. I like the colors.
Sinnertwin
Unlike Hun-Gurrr, Sinnertwin doesn’t pull off the two headed monster so well. They are too close together and have too little neck. I do really like his robot mode though and he’s got a great color scheme.
Windrazor
I can’t say much for Windrazor’s creature mode, but he looks great in robot mode with those wings.
Abominus
Abominus looks pretty great. I just wish they had included a gun for him. Instead he has a sword and an axe. Also, I would have preferred they put a piece on the front of his right leg to cover the two pegs.
I still can’t believe how awful the stickers for Kre-O Micro-Change Combiners are. They use the clear labels on dark plastic, and you can hardly see the designs on them. It’s just basic logic that you can’t put these kind of stickers on dark plastic. The stupidity of it is mind boggling.
Here are my previous Transformers Kre-O reviews, 2011 sets, and 2012 sets, Micro-Changers Preview Series, Micro-Changers Series One, Series Two, and Series Three, the Toys R Us exclusive Ironhide, Beast Hunters sets Mech Venom Strike, Dragon Assault, Battle Net Bumblebee, Beast Blade Optimus Prime, and Ripclaw Strike, Micro-Changer Combiners, Bruticus, Devastator, Predaking, Superion, Abominus, Defensor, and Piranacon, and the Botcon Machine Wars: Termination Set.
Thanks for reading!
