Vehicle Mode: This is probably the best Cyberverse Optimus Prime we’ve seen yet. He looks great in vehicle mode. I love the paint apps, though I wish his grill and bumper were silver instead of gray. His gun becomes an integrated part of his vehicle mode, filling in the gap in the back of the cab. Much better than just sticking on the back or side of the cab. In this mode his blast effect is apparently meant to simulate some kind of jet engine, but in reality it just makes it look like he’s farting. Can trucks fart?

Robot Mode: Other than having gray instead of silver, his robot mode is pretty much perfect. I love the face sculpt and blue windows.

Overall: Optimus Prime is awesome. This is truly one of the best toys in the entire Cyberverse line. It’s nice that we are finally getting Deluxe Class toys for Cyberverse. I know it won’t happen, but I’m hoping this might mean that we get Deluxe Class Rescue Bots toys sometime down the road. I also wish we could get them for Robots in Disguise (2015) but that’s probably too much to hope for.
