Transformers: Cyberverse Deluxe Class Shockwave

Shockwave

Vehicle Mode: Someday I’d love to know what Hasbro was thinking when they decided to make this Shockwave’s alternate mode. Was a regular old tank too normal? Why did we have to get this monstrosity? I still say he looks like some kind of Cybertronian bull, or maybe some Cybertronian bullshit would be more accurate.

Robot Mode: While his vehicle mode is a dumpster fire, Shockwave is awesome in robot mode. His paint apps are great. You can remove his gun hand, there is a had underneath.

Overall: Shockwave is so awesome in robot mode that I can almost overlook whatever his alternate mode is supposed to be. It’s nice that we are finally getting Deluxe Class toys for Cyberverse. I know it won’t happen, but I’m hoping this might mean that we get Deluxe Class Rescue Bots toys sometime down the road. I also wish we could get them for Robots in Disguise (2015) but that’s probably too much to hope for.

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
