Transformers Generations Legends Optimus Prime & Roller and Bumblebee & Blazemaster

Vehicle Mode: Roller’s armored vehicle mode is pretty cool, and he looks great with the big gun mounted on his roof.  He’s about the size of a Mini-Con.

Robot Mode: His robot mode is what you’d expect from a toy this size.  Nothing to write home about.

Optimus Prime

Vehicle Mode: Optimus Prime’s vehicle mode is pretty cool for a toy of this scale.  I just wish they had made Optimus’s head out of two halves, blue for the front and red for the back.  It would have made the vehicle mode much nicer without the blue on top of the cab.  It looks really out of place.

Robot Mode: He’s got a great robot mode.  I like the split chest design with the Autobot logo, but the two halves of his chest don’t click in place, so it closes up easily.  A minor flaw, but one they certainly could have corrected.  He’s got really nice paint apps.  My only complaint is that Roller’s gun mode is so big, that Optimus Prime can’t hold it unless the tip is on the surface, or he’s holding it straight up in the air.

Vehicle Mode: Blazemaster’s helicopter mode is pretty decent, but nothing to write home about.

Robots Mode: His robot mode isn’t very good.  His head is attached to his body on a pivot making it separate from his shoulders.  It just looks odd.

Vehicle Mode: Bumblebee’s car mode is really nice.  He could have used a few more paint apps, especially on his spoiler.  Still very nice as is.

Robot Mode: Accept that he could use a little more color, there is nothing to complain about Bumblebee’s robot mode.  He looks fantastic, and I like Blazemaster’s gun mode a lot more than I like Roller’s.
