At San Diego Comic Con it was revealed that the series of Asia only exclusive Generations toys (at least most of them as it doesn’t look like we are getting the G1 deco Leaders Ironhide and Starscream, while Brawn seems to have been canceled completely) would be coming to Toys R Us this fall. I haven’t seen Voyagers yet, but I’ve seen the rest. I can’t find any significant differences with the Asian versions (accept for a slight paint change on Springer’s sword, but I can’t confirm if it’s a wide change or just a random mistake). I previously reviewed the Legends (Bluestreak, Hoist, Motorbreath, and Thundercracker) and Deluxes (Cliffjumper, Springer, Swerve, and Wheelie) that I picked up from the Asian release. I have just picked up a set of the TRU exclusive Scouts (Brawl, Dead End, Laserbeak, and Sandstorm).
Transformers Generations Scout Dead End
Mold Used: Dead End is repainted with no mold changes from Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Scout Brakedown.
Vehicle Mode: This one has a really great car mode. The only problem is, they used Wildrider’s colors and called him Dead End. I don’t understand why they didn’t call him Wildrider. They would get one more use later for Dead End in Dead End’s colors. Still a nice toy though.
Robot Mode: I am not a fan of the robot mode. His arms are two long and his torso seems out of proportion. It’s not horrible, but nothing special either.
