At San Diego Comic Con it was revealed that the series of Asia only exclusive Generations toys (at least most of them as it doesn’t look like we are getting Voyager Brawn or the G1 deco Leaders Ironhide and Starscream) are coming to Toys R Us this fall. However, since I didn’t know that, I did pick up the Legends (Bluestreak, Hoist, Motorbreath, and Thundercracker) and Deluxes (Cliffjumper, Springer, Swerve, and Wheelie).
Transformers Generations Legends Thundercracker
Mold Used: Thundercracker is made from the Transformers 2010 Legends Starscream mold slightly remolded with new weapons.
Vehicle Mode: This is one of the best Legends molds in recent memory, and the only thing it was missing was G1 style weapons. It’s without questions the best toy of the series. I just hope we get a Starscream and Skywarp with the weapons sometime in the future.
Robot Mode: The only drawback is that he has to old the weapons in his hands instead of mounted on his arms. The panel that folds onto his arms would have been too small to put a peg hole in. Unfortunate, but not the end of the world. It’s still an awesome toy.
Overall: This is a must for every G1 fan.
