At San Diego Comic Con it was revealed that the series of Asia only exclusive Generations toys (at least most of them as it doesn’t look like we are getting Voyager Brawn or the G1 deco Leaders Ironhide and Starscream) are coming to Toys R Us this fall. However, since I didn’t know that, I did pick up the Legends (Bluestreak, Hoist, Motorbreath, and Thundercracker) and Deluxes (Cliffjumper, Springer, Swerve, and Wheelie).
Transformers Generations Deluxe Springer
Mold Used: Springer is made from the Transformers 2010 Deluxe Tomahawk mold with a new head and new sword accessory.
Vehicle Mode: The Tomahawk mold has been repainted and remolded a number of times since it was first released. It is a great mold. Here it has been repainted in gray, green, and yellow as G1 Springer. They did a great job with the coloring (in vehicle mode). You can’t possibly mistake him for anyone else. The only minor issue I have is that there is no place to store his sword in vehicle mode. It is otherwise fantastic.
Robot Mode: They got Springer’s new head perfect. My only complaint is the dark green on his legs. He would have looked better if the lighter green was used there too, but that’s not a huge deal.
Overall: This one is easily my favorite of the four Asian deluxes.
Thanks for reading!

@Dean, True, but I’d rather have a really cool Springer with no car mode than no Springer at all.
He’s Supposed to be 3ple Changer!
