Exclusive to Japanese Atmos stores, MP-ASL Safari Convoy matches colors of Lebron James’ sneakers for some idiotic reason. I don’t hate the yellow and tan color scheme. I rather like the spotted band around the cab. I just don’t like Lebron James. MP-10DC Duckcamo Optimus Prime (I have no idea why Duckcamo is one word) looks awesome. It’s completely insane, but I like it. He two is colored to match sneakers, which I assume are meant to be camouflaged like a duck blind. That’s the only thing I can make sense of. The different shades of green with brown and orange highlights look great. I love the orange gun.

Overall: When I started tracking down the Masterpiece Optimus Prime’s I was missing, I discovered an easy way to tell if they are real or fake. The 7-11, Atmos, and Bathing Ape versions were made from the Nemesis Prime mold. Up until the Nemesis Prime mold, all Masterpiece Prime’s (2nd mold, MP-10) had a raised Autobot logo on his left shoulder. That is the mold that was knocked off a million times over. The Nemesis Prime had a newly molded left shoulder without the raised logo. I do not believe any Masterpiece Optimus Prime released after that used the original mold, but the knock offs all do. So if you see a 7-11, Atmos, or Bathing Ape Prime with a molded logo on the left shoulder, it is a knock off. This is not new info or anything, but I’d never heard this until I went looking for how to tell them from the knock offs. Anyway, these are really cool, the Duckcamo more so than the Safari, but a bit expensive, though not as much as some of the Primes. Unless you really want them all, or have a particular affinity for Atmos sneakers, these are an easy skip, unless like me you are a completist.

Thanks for reading!
