Blog #2126: Toy Review: Transformers: Generations: Shattered Glass Deluxe Class Blurr

Transformers: Generations: Shattered Glass Deluxe Class Blurr

The Ghost of Fun Pub still haunts us. Each Shattered Glass toy came with an exclusive comic giving them an excuse to overcharge for these toys. All were $9-$12 over retail for a $5 comic. These should have just been done as Selects without the comics for retail price.

Blurr has a new head sculpt. It’s definitely better than the original head sculpt this toy had. It actually looks pretty cool with the eye patch. I like the color scheme.

Overall: Blurr’s new head sculpt is cool, but nothing about this toy wows me. He was $10 over retail because of the exclusive comic. He just isn’t worth the price.

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
