Beast Mode: Megatron, yes. I love this toy. Short of the insanely complex and expensive Masterpiece toy, this is the best Beast Wars Megatron toy (though he has had superior paintjobs and a new show accurate head sculpt). None of that garbage soft plastic like Kingdom Megatron. He’s just perfect. He’s got some paint differences from the original toy, most notably the shade of purple plastic.

Robot Mode: In robot mode you can see the silver paint on his head has been changed to black, which looks better, I think. Too bad they did not use the alternate more show accurate head.

Overall: Beast Wars may not be G1 (what is?), but it has some great toys. If you have an original Megatron, you probably don’t need the reissue, but if you don’t, this is a great opportunity to get it considerably cheaper than a MOC original.
