Blog #2075: Toy Review: Transformers: Beast Wars: Deluxe Class Cheetor

Transformers: Kingdom: Deluxe Class Cheetor

Cheetor

Beast Mode: I’ve always loved this toy. Cheetor looks fantastic with his beautiful spots. Other than the gun hanging under his body and the backs of his rear legs, there is remarkably little of his robot mode showing.

Robot Mode: In robot mode Cheetor looks great. Interestingly, Cheetor is different from any previous version of this mold. The original had gold robot eyes and blue cat eyes. His second release had red cat eyes. The third one had green cat eyes and green robot eyes as did both the Fox Kids and tenth anniversary versions. This version has green cat eyes and orange robot eyes.

Overall: Beast Wars may not be G1 (what is?), but it has some great toys. If you have an original Cheetor, you probably don’t need the reissue, but if you don’t, this is a great opportunity to get it considerably cheaper than a MOC original.

“Maybe that’s what we’ve been needing: a little less brain and a little more guts!” – Cheetor, Transformers: Beast Wars, Gorilla Warfare

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
