Transformers: Generations: Netflix War for Cybertron Trilogy Voyager Class Optimus Prime & Battle Masters Enerax and Sheeldron

The Netflix Siege series represented everything that is wrong with Hasbro these days. Unimaginative repaints, abysmal quality control, and deplorable distribution. Regrettably this has improved only slightly in the Netflix Earthrise series. There are a few great toys in this series, if you can find them. The rest are still unimaginative repaints.

Enerax

Previous Mold Use: Siege Battle Master Pteraxadon, Siege Battle Master Terror-Daxtyl

Enerax? Really? That was the best name they could come up with? This is why I prefer they don’t do new characters, because they come up with names like Enerax. Enerax looks decent enough in yellow and translucent yellow.

Sheeldron

Previous Mold Use: Earthrise Battle Master Soundbarrier

Sheeldron? I can’t believe they actually called him that. They have to stop letting two-year-olds name their characters. He’s a yellow board masquerading as a shield. Who cares?

Optimus Prime

Previous Mold Use: Earthrise Leader Class Optimus Prime, Earthrise Leader Class Alternate Universe Optimus Prime, Galactic Odyssey Collection Voyager Class Shattered Glass Optimus Prime

This version of Optimus Prime is only slightly different from the original. Over all colors are darker. They removed a silver paint app from his chest right below his windows. His windows are now clear, and he has much brighter blue eyes. Probably a few more little things I’m not noticing.

Overall: For completists only.

Thanks for reading!

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
