Transformers: Generations: Siege Deluxe Ratchet
Ratchet
Previous Mold Use: Siege Deluxe Ironhide
In addition to the new paintjob, Ratchet has a new head, a new front bumper, new shoulders, and new forearms. His head sculpt looks great, and his paint job is perfect. I love his blue window in ambulance mode. The only thing I don’t like is the white wheels. He would look much better with black wheels. I like the new accessories, but when the gun arm is folded up on Ratchet’s roof, there are ports for both pegs. The front peg is too long (or the front port is too shallow) so the second one can’t really plug in. The gun and arm should have been included with Ironhide. In one of the G1 episodes, I can’t recall which one, Ironhide actually used the gun on the arm connected to his back. Yet another example of Hasbro leaving out available accessories. Ratchet’s repair bay is not a dumpster fire. To call it a dumpster fire would be generous. It’s a dumpster full of shit that’s been doused with gasoline and nuked. It’s a waste to have even included it in the instructions.
Overall: Ratchet is well worth picking up.

Looks like the website comments are broken. I tried to reply with:
IMO, the repair bay is a throwaway mode to homage G1, something that would be a fan mode anyway – and they just decided to do us the favor of documenting it. That the weapon can look a lot like the G1 weapon is far cooler.
