Blog #1746: Toy Review: Transformers: Cyberverse Warrior Class Mace Mash Gnaw

Transformers: Cyberverse Warrior Class Mace Mash Gnaw

Gnaw

Sharkticon Mode: Gnaw looks amazing in Sharkticon mode. This is a great looking toy. The real question is, how much better is he than the last one we had? I’ve pictured him above with Titans Return Gnaw (Right) and Legends Sharkticon (Center). Cyberverse Gnaw is a completely new mold, but is it that much better than the one we got just two and a half years ago? I don’t think so. I love G1 homages, but once in a while some new ones would be nice. I would have rather gotten a toy of the Allicon who Kup and Hot Rod first encountered after emerging from the water when they landed on Quintessa in Transformers the Movie. We’ve never had an official toy of them.

Robot Mode: Again, Gnaw looks great, but is he that much better than the most recent iterations? I don’t think so.

Overall: Gnaw is a fine toy, one of the better Cyberverse Warrior Class toys. It just feels like they could have given us something we haven’t had recently, or ever.

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
