Transformers: Beast Wars Metals Deluxe Transmetal Terrorsaur

Transmetal Terrorsaur

Beast Mode: Terrorsaur looks pretty cool in his Transmetal form. Unfortunately his arms do not lock in place. This version from Japan is almost identical to the USA version except for some paint apps on his face, and the “Destron” tampo on his arm instead of his name.

Vehicle Mode: The “Vehicle” modes of the Transmetal toys never really did anything for me. I guess he is supposed to be a jet because you can open up his rear end to reveal a jet engine. Kind of pointless to me.

Robot Mode: I’m not really a fan of his head sculpt, but the silver paint makes this version look better than the USA version. He has very long arms.

Overall: Terrorsaur is not a bad toy, but just doesn’t do anything for me. He has the disadvantage of never appearing in the cartoon in this form.

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
