Blog #1526: Toy Review: Hot Soldiers Centurion (Hearts of Steel Bumblebee)

Hot Soldiers Centurion (Hearts of Steel Bumblebee)

Centurion is Hot Soldiers’ Third Party Bumblebee in his Steam Engine vehicle mode from the Hearts of Steel comic book.

I hate IDW, but the one thing they did that I really loved was Hearts of Steel. Bumblebee looks amazing in steam engine mode. He has great paint apps. I just wish the crank and connecting rods (the bars that turn the steam engine’s wheels) were actually connected to the wheel so they could move instead of being just solid plastic not connected to the wheels. In robot mode he looks grea. I love his head sculpt and hammer accessory.

Overall: At $35, you really can’t go wrong with Centurion.

Thanks for reading!

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
