Transformers: The Last Knight Toy Reviews

Bumblebee is a repaint of Age of Extinction Deluxe Bumblebee (read my review of it here).  Initially the reports I saw said this was remolded, but it is not remolded, just a repaint.  I can go either way on the dark yellow vs. newer light yellow base color, but this version is missing all the black paint apps that looked great on the original toy.  On the plus side, Hasbro seems to have figured out how to properly paint a car, as his tail lights and spoiler are painted, something that only happened to the Age of Extinction toys in the Platinum Edition sets.

Overall: It’s not a bad Bumblebee, and the base mold is pretty good, but unless you are a completist, you can wait for the new mold Bumblebee coming in wave 3.

Thanks for reading!

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
