Transformers: Robots in Disguise (2015) One Step Changers Wave 6 Part 2 (Bumblebee and Sideswipe)

This is the second half of Wave 6.  These are two completely new molds of Bumblebee and Sideswipe.  In Hasbro’s infinite stupidity they did not give them names that in any way differentiate them from the original versions of Bumblebee and Sideswipe.  Surely someone could have come up with some adjective to put in front of them.

Bumblebee uses the flip transformation that, to me, is the best design for the One Step Changer.  He’s okay, but nothing special.

I’m not even sure how to describe Sideswipe’s transformation.  He kind of flips inside out.  I have yet to transform him smoothly.  Something gets caught somewhere every time.  It’s not a good design at all.

Overall: For completists only.

Thanks for reading!

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
