Blog #1550: Toy Review: Transformers: Cyberverse One Step Changers Wave 1 (Blurr, Bumblebee, Soundwave)

Transformers: Cyberverse One Step Changers Wave 1 (Blurr, Bumblebee, Soundwave)

All of these are repaints of RID One Step Changers without any mold changes.

Blurr

Previous Mold Use: Robots In Disguise One Step Changer Blurr

They removed a lot of Blurr’s paint apps in vehicle mode. In robot mode His legs were left very plain, and they moved the paint from his shoulder’s to his forearms. There are a few other minor changes.

Bumblebee

Previous Mold Use: Robots in Disguise One Step Changer Bumblebee

I like Bumblebee much better with blue windows, but they painted his rear of the vehicle wrong. They painted the two stripes on the trunk of the car blue so they look like part of the window.

Soundwave

Soundwave looks pretty cool. I like the way they painted his face to give him the visor for eyes. Paint apps are okay, though he could have used some on his legs.

Overall: For completists only.

Thanks for reading!

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.

  1. At least they got rid of those code circle stickers and gave them real insignias.
