Prowl is remolded and repainted from Combiner Wars Deluxe Stunticon Dead End and Combiner Wars Protectobot Streetwise.

Vehicle Mode: Prowl is a really nice looking repaint of Streetwise.  There are no mold changes here, but a police car is a police car so that’s really not a big deal.

Robot Mode: They did a nice job on the paint details for Prowl in robot mode.  He has a new head sculpt, which is excellent.

Overall: I like Prowl, and he is absolutely fine with just the head sculpt change.  What bothers me is that when they have one like Prowl that needs very little work, why can’t they go the extra mile of the toys that really do need mold changes?

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
