Transformers: Generations: Combiner Wars Deluxe Protectobot Streetwise

Streetwise is repainted and heavily remolded from Stunticon Dead End.  He’s so heavily remolded in fact, that while he uses the same basic design as Dead End, it’s likely not actually remolded, but a complete new mold based on the Dead End design and transformation.  You can read my Dead End review here, but I will be doing a full review.

Vehicle Mode: Streetwise’s car mode is really cool.  The only problem is they failed to paint any of the back half of the car, a disturbing trend by Hasbro to cheap out on obviously needed paint apps.  Otherwise he looks really nice.

Robot Mode: In robot mode Streetwise has an amazing head sculpt and looks fantastic.  He’s got great paint apps.  Notably, they did not include the original weapon that came with Dead End, the silly pipe.  He has a gun, which I believe is a new mold.

Overall: Streetwise is very cool, I really like him.

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
