Transformers: Generations: Legends Wave 2 (Stunticon Blackjack & Huffer)

Huffer is a remold and repaint of Optimus Prime, so please read my review of Optimus Prime here.  I will only be talking about Huffer’s mold and color changes.

Stunticon Blackjack

Vehicle Mode: Blackjack is clearly an homage to the G1 Micromaster of the same name.  They did a great job on him.  His vehicle mode looks great, I love the gold windows.

Robot Mode: His robot mode looks phenomenal.  Paint apps are excellent and I love the head sculpt.  I’m okay with him being made a Stunticon so he can become Menasor’s chest just like the little car G1 Motormaster came with.

Huffer

I like this mold better as Huffer than I did as Optimus Prime.  He looks great.  It’s clearly a departure from the G1 design as he’s just an Optimus Prime head swap, but it works.  They did a great job painting him.

Overall: A good wave, but I’m more looking forward to future waves.  Blackjack is a must since he is a Stunticon.
