I was unable to go to Dairycon this year, but I was able to obtain the exclusive toys and accessories.  So much cool stuff this year.  You can read the rest of my Dairycon 2014 blogs here.

Sunbeam didn’t get just one toy for his tenth anniversary, he got two!.  In addition to Solar Flare Sunbeam, we have Sunbeam GTT.  This one is made from a Transformers Cybertron Yellow Scrapmetal, and sports a smiley face battering ram for use in both modes.  Sunbeam GTT is a member of Dairycon’s Fabulous Fourteen.

His battering ram can be converted into a wrecking ball with his Brave Ball accessory.

There is a little bit of history behind this toy that few people will know.  Sunbeam GTT was originally conceived of as a different character.  To find out who, you will have to read this story.  (Which, as it happens, I wrote.)

You can read Sunbeam GTT’s bio here, and my review of the original version of Sunbeam here.

See Dairycon.com for details on Dairycon 2015! (Coming Soon)

Thanks for reading!

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
