Blog #165: Toy Review: Dairycon 2004 Sunbeam and Bunny Convoy

Recently I was lucky to acquire two of the most limited and coveted Transformers convention exclusive toys ever made, the Dairycon 2004 Exclusive Sunbeam and Bunny Convoy 2-Pack and the Dairycon 2006 Exclusive Heffer.

Dairycon 2004 Sunbeam

Sunbeam is a yellow, black, and white repaint of Generation One Mini-Car Windcharger.  Windcharger is a straight repaint, no mold changes.  The white stripe looks great on him.

Dairycon 2004 Bunny Convoy

Bunny Convoy is based on a Japanese Beast Wars Neo Stampy repainted with Optimus Prime colors.  This is one of my favorite Beast Wars Neo molds (and it’s a shame it was never released in the USA).  An interesting feature is the box.  You can’t tell from the picture (probably), but the box is actually a Beast Wars Neo Stampy box turned inside out.  A very clever way to make the box.

You can read Sunbeam and Bunny Convoy’s bios here.

Thanks for reading!

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
