Ball Mode: Breakaway is a ball. And he’s not a really cool ball, like a baseball or basketball. He’s a stupid soccer ball. I would literally prefer to stare and a blank TV screen than one showing soccer. What a waste of a toy to make a soccer Transformer when he could have been a baseball.

Robot Mode: In robot mode he’s fine. Too bad he can’t escape being a soccer ball. It’s a shame they put so much work into his paint apps. He wasn’t worth the effort. That leads us to the obvious repaint.

The Obvious Repaint: As soon as I saw it, the repaint was obvious. Breakaway can be repainted as the ball from the movie that is so bad it’s good, “Leonard, Part 6,” starring notorious sex offender Bill Cosby. If you have never seen “Leonard, Part 6” you really should. I recommend alcohol and plenty of it.

Overall: This toy has all the satisfaction of a nil-nil tie. For completists only.
