Transformers: The Movie: Studio Series Deluxe Class Perceptor with Ramhorn and Ratbat

Ramhorn

Ramhorn’s rectangle mode looks a bit more like an actual cassette than some of the cassettes. He at least has two spoked wheels, but they are far too close to the side, they needed to be more in the middle of his side. He looks great in robot mode. Apparently, his guns and the chunk of rhino they are attached to can be used as a weapon for other figures. Not sure if I missed that in the instructions, or if it was not shown.

Ratbat

Previous Mold Use: Selects Micromaster Ratbat, Selects Earthrise Micromasters Soundwave Spy Patrol 3rd Unit Micromaster Skar, Selects Earthrise Micromasters Soundwave Spy Patrol 3rd Unit Micromaster Wingthing, Legacy United Micromasters Nightstrike

Ratbat is a repaint of the Siege toy with new weapon pods. He looks really sharp.

Perceptor

Previous Mold Use: Studio Series Transformers The Movie Deluxe Class Perceptor

Perceptor has been repainted to look more like he did in the movie. He also has a new abdomen and chest.

Overall: I do like the new Perceptor, but not enough to call him a must have if you have the original version, but Ramhorn is a must have and unfortunately, they are a package deal. Ratbat’s new weapons make him worth having too.

Thanks for reading!

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
