Blog #2950: Toy Review: Magic Square Light of Justice (Transformers G1 Optimus Prime)

Magic Square Light of Justice (Transformers G1 Optimus Prime)

Accessories

Roller and Trailer

Optimus Prime

Vehicle Mode: For a Legends scale Optimus Prime with trailer, he looks pretty great. His trailer is painted nicely, and the molding looks great on it. Optimus Prime himself looks pretty great. Paintjob is excellent and he has long smokestacks, always a plus. The sides of his cab lack windows and rear view mirrors, but at Legends scale, that is kind of asking a lot.

Robot Mode: In robot mode Optimus Prime looks pretty great. He’s really nicely painted and has all the appropriate accessories.

Overall: I don’t remember exactly what I paid for this one, but it was a good deal, I think around $50. Good toy for that price, but I wouldn’t pay more than that for it. Prices on eBay range to over $100, so shop around.

Thanks for reading!

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
