Xinlexin Transforming Gun Sets

These are obviously not based on Transformers toy designs, but they are so cool, I had to review them. Not sure if these are both made by Xinlexin or not. I got them both without boxes. I found the name Xinlexin for the first one. I can’t find anything about the second set with the assault rifles. I got both on Ali Express. They were cheap. Both are Legends scale. Some of the guns have the models on them and I’ve tried to identify the others as best I can.

Smith & Wesson Magnum Revolver

As with most of these, Magnum’s gun mode is awesome. His robot mode is not awful for a toy at this scale, but his right arm as the gun barrel is not great.

Desert Eagle

Eagle’s gun mode is awesome. His robot mode is not bad. I actually rather like his head sculpt

Glock

Glock looks amazing in gun mode. He looks great on robot mode.

Colt 1911

Colt looks great in gun mode. His robot mode is a bit thin in the middle, but not too bad.

Mauser

Mauser is quite shiny in gold. His robot mode is okay, but his head seems a little small for his body.

Combined

When combined he looks pretty great, but I really don’t like the gun barrel hands.

Desert Eagle

Eagle’s gun mode is awesome, but that robot mode is rough. Spindly legs and thick arms make him look weird. He does come with a sword, so he has that going for him.

M134 Mini Gun

If you buy this set, be very careful with Mini. Mine was broken when I received him. He’s a bit flimsier than the others. He looks awesome in gun mode, and really great in robot mode. He comes with a gun.

Heckler & Koch M416

Heckler looks awesome in assault rifle mode. Really cool design. His robot mode is okay, but he has a really small head. (Kind of like people who walk around with assault rifles just because they can.)

Kalashnikov AK-47

Achy (see what I did there?) looks really cool in assault rifle mode. Robot mode is not mad. Not great either.

Accuracy International AWM

Arctic (that’s what the A in AWM stands for) looks awesome in sniper rifle mode. In robot mode his arms are longer than his legs, so weird.

Combined

Combined, this set basically has two guns as arms. Not great, but I do like his head sculpt.

Overall: They are cheap, so while the robot modes aren’t great, they are cool. Recommended. The first set is readily available of Ali Express, but the second one seems to have vanished.
