Transformers: Legacy: Voyager Class Armada Starscream

Armada Starscream

Vehicle Mode: I’ve never loved the Armada jets. The original molds weren’t bad, but they didn’t wow me. The best thing about them is they were big, and a Legacy Voyager is smaller than an Armada Deluxe (okay, maybe not, but it seems so). I hate that Starscream is not in correct Starscream colors. There was no reason for them to have done that, and yes, I’m still harping on that twenty years later. Having said that, he seems accurate to Armada Starscream to my memory. Some of his parts don’t clip in well, his legs tend to move out of position easily in jet mode.

Robot Mode: Giving him a Starsaber that is basically the size of his regular sword is stupid. It doesn’t have to be as big as it should be, but it should be bigger than this. He looks fine in robot mode.

Overall: If you love Armada, then Starscream is probably a must have, but I’ve always hated the color scheme.

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
