Transformers: Studio Series Deluxe Class Brawn

Brawn

Vehicle Mode: I love Brawn’s vehicle mode. Seems like someone put more thought into it than other Cybertron alt modes. Brawn seems to be some kind of mining or tunneling vehicle with the drill on the front, and I can absolutely imagine Teletran-1 looking at a Suzuki Jimny SJ20 and thinking it the right choice for Brawn. His colors are perfect. Not sure why he has a big hole in the rear roof. His gun connects via a tiny port on the bottom of it and a tiny peg on his roof. It will fall off I you look at it funny. Really poor design. Otherwise his vehicle mode looks great.

Robot Mode: In robot mode Brawn looks…interesting. His helmet seems like it was modeled after Juggernaut. I do not like his face sculpt at all. Other than that, he looks pretty good.

Overall: While I have some issues with Brawn, he’s more than good enough to make him worth picking up.

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.

Am I the only one here, who sees Brawn’s vehicle mode as a lightcycle from 1982 Tron movie?
