Transformers: Studio Series Deluxe Class Wheeljack

Wheeljack

Vehicle Mode: Wheeljack looks awesome. I love the design, and his colors are great. The only problem is, that he makes absolutely no sense as a Cybertronian vehicle. He looks like a car. Maybe a little futuristic, but not so much so that it couldn’t exist on Earth. If you look at Studio Series Deluxe Class B-127, he looks like a Cybertronian vehicle. To add to that, we know what Wheeljack’s Cybertron mode looked like, because he was one of the few we saw in More Than Meets The Eye Part I. I’m not saying it had to look just like that, but you they had something to base it on, and just said, “yeah, lets just, you know, not do that”? It makes no sense.

Robot Mode: In robot mode Wheeljack looks pretty great. I just wish he had his shoulder cannon. It would also have been nice if he didn’t have those big blocks on the insides of his heels

Overall: Wheeljack is a good toy even if his vehicle mode does not make a lot of sense. Worth picking up.

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
