Transformers: Generations Pulse Con 2021: Deluxe Class Covert Agent Ravage & Decepticons Forever Ravage

Decepticons Forever Ravage

G1 Ravage has received a bit of an upgrade. He now has his cassette markings painted on both sides. Kind of crazy it’s taken nearly 40 years for such an obvious upgrade. Also, they have changed his metal to look less glossy, more of a brushed metal look.

Previous Mold Use: Kingdom Deluxe Class Cheetor, Netflix War for Cybertron Trilogy Deluxe Cheetor, Kingdom Deluxe Class Shadow Panther

As you can see from the pictures, Ravage has been significantly remolded, with very few of his parts unchanged. He looks great. I love his guns, but I wish he had a pair of more G1 accurate weapons for his beast mode. If you have Shadow Panther, you may be aware that the factory put his front cat legs on backwards. I didn’t notice until going through the pictures that they did the same thing to Ravage. They just pop off an on, so no big deal.

Overall: G1 Ravage looks great with his new paintjob. Covert Agent Ravage looks great. My only really complaint is the price. Ravage was WILDLY overpriced at $53. That’s a $20 deluxe, and even if we called G1 Ravage $10, that’s still $23 under the cost. People complain bitterly about scalpers price gouging. Not sure why they find it less egregious when Hasbro does it.
