Transformers: Generations Selects: Voyager Class Super Megatron

Super Megatron

Previous Mold Use: Titans Return Voyager Class Galvatron

Super Megatron is a heavy retool of Titans Return Galvatron. He retains Galvatron’s legs, waist, and arms, and the rest is new. He certainly look cool, but he has some quality control and design issues. In jet mode one of his treads does not lock down on the peg properly, it keeps popping off the peg. Changing his face and forehead was insanely hard to do. When his wings are out, his arm cannon folds into a box making so he can’t put his arm at his side since the wings are in the way. He’s got parts like those prongs that stick out from his shoulders that don’t lock in place. His tank mode is kind of lousy. I’d almost rather his legs stuck out behind him.

Overall: Super Megatron is a cool, if deeply flawed, toy. Unless you have some connection to the character, I think he’s for completists only.

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
