Transformers: Authentics Titan Changers Grimlock

Grimlock

Grimlock isn’t too bad. Let’s face it, there have been far worse Grimlocks. There are also been far better Grimlocks, but for an Authentics Titan Changer, he’s fine. What is interesting about him is that he bares a closer resemblance to a Cyberverse Grimlock than an Authentics Grimlock. If you look at Authentics Alpha Class and Bravo Class Grimlocks, they are both very G1 looking with their gold chests. This Grimlock not only has a yellow chest, but also the missile pods on his shoulders like Cyberverse Grimlock (Deluxe, Ultra, Ultimate). This makes me wonder if this Grimlock was originally meant to be a Cyberverse Titan Changer and they repurposed it for the Authentics line.

Overall: For a Titan Changer Grimlock is not too bad. Grimlock was pretty hard to track down. I don’t normally go to Family Dollar, and with corona I haven’t been able to get there at all to look. Finally found it for a not horrible markup on eBay.

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
