Transformers: Generations: Earthrise Deluxe Class Trailbreaker

Trailbreaker

Previous Mold Use: Earthrise Deluxe Class Hoist

At least he has the right name now. I’m not sure if they finally got the Trailbreaker name back or what. I was not crazy about the name Trailcutter. Trailbreaker’s vehicle mode is perfect. He’s got painted tail lights and all the right paint apps. Trailbreaker looks awesome in robot mode. I love the new head sculpt. As with most Earthrise toys, they clearly went for an animation accurate look. Instead of the light rack behind his head, it’s on one side with the gun on the other. Also of note, he does not have battle damage all over him that so many WFC trilogy toys have had.

Overall: Trailbreaker is absolutely amazing, and an absolute must have. Personally, I hope they do a Selects Mexican Hoist (Hoist with Trailbreaker’s head) but that would probably appeal to too few fans. What we might have a shot at is a 2-Pack (or 4-Pack) of them in Diaclone colors. I’d be all over that.

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
