Blog #1871: Toy Review: Transformers: Cyberverse Ultra Class Energon Armor Thunderhowl

Transformers: Cyberverse Ultra Class Energon Armor Thunderhowl

Thunderhowl

Wolf Mode: Thunderhowl looks pretty great in wolf mode. I actually thought that the cape was going to be covering up exposed robot parts and internal mechanism, but really his its pretty clean except for right under where his tail connects, but even that isn’t too bad. I love the way the cape looks on him, and his wolf head is amazing. Hasbro really did some great design work on him.

Robot Mode: Thunderhowl is packaged with his wolf head as the hilt of his sword, but on the package he is shown with it as his chest plate. He looks way cooler with the head on his chest. He has a great paintjob and head sculpt. His tail becomes a sheath for his sword, which is a very cool touch, though it gets in the way of his arm and you have to leave it out to the side.

Overall: Thunderhowl is among the best toys in the Cyberverse line. He is an absolute must have.

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
