Transformers: Cyberverse Warrior Class Starseeker Missile Starscream

Starscream

Vehicle Mode: Finally, we get a Cyberverse Warrior Class Starscream that doesn’t suck! The original was a pretty lousy toy, but this Starscream is awesome. His Cybertronian jet mode is pretty great. I kind of wish the cockpit extended out to the tip of the wings. That would have given him a vaguely triangular shape. I guess he kind of has that anyway, but I think it would have looked better with the cockpit extended. Still looks great though. I love the paint apps. The wing stripes look great.

Robot Mode: In robot mode Starscream is pretty much perfect. I would have preferred his guns be gray and blue, but the translucent orange looks pretty good. He has a great head sculpt and paint apps. His action feature is that his guns can pop up and point forward. This is the one thing I really don’t like. His guns should be attached to his arms, not to his wings. This is clearly a case of less is more. If they hadn’t included the action feature, and just let his weapons be plugged into his arms and moved to under his wings, this would be an even better toy.

Overall: The earlier Warrior Class toys were pretty sub par, but these later waves have had some great toys. Starscream is an absolute must have.

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
