Transformers: Studio Series Deluxe Class Bumblebee

Bumblebee

Vehicle Mode: Bumblebee’s vehicle mode is fine. They didn’t do a very good job color matching the yellow plastic parts to the yellow painted parts, but what else is new. They failed to paint the stripes on his roof.

Robot Mode: I like this Bumblebee’s robot mode, but it’s hard to compare him to those that have come before because there have been so damn many of them. Someone should really figure out how many different Deluxe Class movie Bumblebee toys we’ve gotten. It’s got to be over a hundred by now. He’s got the battle helmet, which is fine, but I prefer a regular head sculpt. Paint apps are sufficient.

Overall: We’ve got to have had all the iterations of Bumblebee in the Studio Series line by now. Oh wait, there is one in the next wave. At least that is a new alternate mode. For completists only.

Thanks for reading!

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
