Previous Mold Use: Siege Deluxe Brunt

Zetar is based on the G1 Powerdasher drill tank version. He comes with Brunt’s weapon, though I don’t believe it is shown in his instructions. Hasbro usually doesn’t give us extras, so it may have been included by mistake. I think the drill would look better on the end of his primary weapon, but this is what his vehicle mode is supposed to look like according to the instructions. In robot mode he has a great paintjob. Zetar’s head is the lower portion of Brunt’s head turned around backwards with a new drill on top.

Overall: I love that the Powerdashers are getting homages. They are pretty much a footnote to the G1 Transformers line. I give Hasbro credit for this, but when you look at how badly they failed in other areas, homages the Pretenders, giving us just a handful of them for example, the good just doesn’t outweigh the bad, but this is a great toy.
