Transformers: Generations: Siege Deluxe Mirage

Mirage

Vehicle Mode: Mirage is kind of a mixed bag in vehicle mode. The front two thirds of his vehicle mode looks great. Then you get to the back and there is a brick sitting there. As a race car he has zero aerodynamics. What they should have done is make his vehicle mode longer rather than put the spoiler on top of his arms the way it is. Not really sure why he has translucent blue plastic. No reason for that on this version of the toy.

Robot Mode: In robot mode Mirage looks amazing, and miracle of miracles, he actually has both of his weapons. Someone at Hasbro must have accidentally approved him getting both of his weapons, since so many of the other toys in this line don’t. I just wish his upper arms were blue and forearms white. While it doesn’t look bad, I again have no idea why he has translucent blue plastic. That just doesn’t make any sense.

Overall: I love Mirage even with his poorly designed vehicle mode.

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
