Transformers: Generations: Siege Micromasters Wave 4 (Off-Road Patrol)

Off-Road Patrol

Highjump

Previous Mold Use: Siege Ricon

Highjump has a pretty G1 accurate paintjob and a new head sculpt and chest from his previous release as Ricon. He doesn’t fit together very well. Not sure if that’s cheap plastic, poor design, or both.

Powertrain

Previous Mold Use: Siege Irontread

As with Highjump, Powertrain has a new head and chest. He’s got a great paintjob, though Hasbro failed to paint his entire front bumper silver.

Off-Road Patrol Weapon Mode

Highjump’s legs stay together well, but his arms don’t really want to stay in place. I really like this weapon mode, but mostly because of the flip out gun barrels on Powertrain. Highjump is basically a handle.

Overall: This is a nice set, both great homages to the original G1 toys, or at least they would be if half the team wasn’t missing.

Thanks for reading!

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
