Transformers: Generations: Siege Commander Class Jetfire

“Behold the glory of JETFIRE!” – Jetfire, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

Vehicle Mode: Jetfire is a masterpiece. He looks incredible in jet mode. He’s perfectly painted. His armor and weapons all connect together and sits on top of the vehicle. I would have preferred they blend a little more seamlessly onto him rather than all together on top like that, but it’s fine, and you can always take it off.

Robot Mode: In robot mode Jetfire is jut perfect. He’s big and detailed. His wings lock in place on his back. You can’t see it, but I think I had his backpack mistransformed. I think the bottom section should have been in the upper position which would have pushed the cannons on each side of the backpack up further. I kind of wish the black parts of his armor were more red and white, but he does look great. His helmet makes him look much more like Jetfire’s toy head, but lacks the head guns/antennae.

Overall: Jetfire is an absolute must. Hasbro has been screwing up a lot of things lately, but they got Jetfire spot on.

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.

  1. Michael Pollard says:

I would argue they messed up one thing: This model was clearly based on the TV version, and as such, he should be called Skyfire rather than Jetfire. They did give him a mask to look more like the toy version, but the rest is heavily based on the TV version.
