Transformers: Bumblebee: Power Charge Bumblebee

Vehicle Mode: This Bumblebee is perfect in vehicle mode. He has great paint apps and is a perfect VW Bug. There is a wheel on the bottom of the vehicle that rolls when you roll Bumblebee. That powers him up to use his light and sound features.

Robot Mode: Power Charge Bumblebee looks okay in robot mode. The wheel in his chest that powers him up looks awfully out of place. It looks like part of his chest is missing. If only the wheel was hidden by the missing piece of chest, it would be a huge improvement.

Overall: At $50, Power Charge Bumblebee is pretty pricey. I love him in vehicle mode so much though, that I have to recommend him.

I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.

  1. Bumblebee (or more accurately Hasbro) went eco-friendly – electric-powered without batteries.
