Blog #1498: Toy Review: Maketoys: Cross Dimension: Thunder Manus with Devine Armor

Maketoys: Cross Dimension: Thunder Manus with Devine Armor

Thunder Manus with Devine Armor is a third party Godmaster Ginrai.

Ginrai (Human)

Ginrai doesn’t actually unlock the transformation (at least not that I could tell) but he looks pretty great in both modes.

Ginrai (Robot)

Ginrai is small compared to the original toy, but looks really great. He’s pretty much perfect. In robot mode he looks great as well. He has excellent paint apps and a great head sculpt. He should have two guns, but my set was missing those. I’m in the process of getting replacements from the company.

Super Ginrai

This is an awesome looking Super Ginrai. In many ways (most ways really) he’s better than Titans Return Powermaster Optimus Prime. He has a great head sculpt and paint apps.

Godbomber

Godbomber looks very cool, and once assembled actually holds together, unlike the Legends Voyager Godbomber. He was really had to put together. A couple of his parts were really hard to get into place. The parts that form the back of Godmaster Ginrai’s lower legs clip together and then slips into each side of Godbomber’s base. That took many attempts before it pegged in properly. Once that was done, the rest was easy.

Godmaster Ginrai

Once fully combined, Godmaster Ginrai is awesome. Other than the original G1 toy, this is the best version of Godmaster Ginrai I’ve seen.

Overall: Thunder Manus with Devine Armor was expensive at $125, but he was well worth it. I highly recommend him.
